Things people ask before saying yes.
If yours isn't here, text us. We answer within the hour most days.
Booking
How does booking work?
Open the booking portal, pick a service and your vehicle size, choose a day with a green dot and an arrival window, enter your address, and confirm. You get a request receipt by email right away, a confirmation email within a day, and an email reminder the evening before. Nothing is charged until the job is finished.
When do you work?
Weekday evenings from 5 p.m., and any time on Saturdays and Sundays: morning, afternoon or evening. The calendar in the portal only shows windows we can actually make.
How far ahead do I need to book?
At least 18 hours. Most weekend windows fill a week out, so booking early is the way to get a Saturday morning.
What if I need to change or cancel?
Every confirmation email includes a link to your booking page where you can cancel, or you can reply to the email. Reschedules are free with a day's notice; we move you to the next open window.
On the day
What do you need from me?
A driveway or parking spot with room to open all the doors, an outdoor water spigot, an outlet within about 100 feet, and someone home to unlock the car. Please pull out valuables, car seats and anything you don't want us to see.
Do I need to be there the whole time?
No. Unlock the car, point out the spots you hate, and go about your evening. We text when we're about 20 minutes from done so you can do the walk-around.
Can you work in an apartment or townhouse lot?
Usually, if there's a spigot and an outlet we can reach and the lot allows it. Text us the situation before booking and we'll tell you straight.
What about rain?
Light rain doesn't stop an interior detail. For exterior work we'll email you the evening before if the forecast is bad and move you to the next open window at no charge.
Pricing and payment
How much does a detail cost?
A full interior and exterior detail is $279 for a sedan, $329 for an SUV and $379 for a truck, van or three-row. Interior-only and exterior-only details, maintenance washes and add-ons are on the pricing page. Heavy soiling and add-ons are quoted before we start, never after.
How do I pay?
After the walk-around, by card, Zelle or cash. If deposits are turned on you'll see an optional deposit button after booking; it comes off the total.
Is there a travel fee?
No travel fee anywhere in our regular service area (Fairfax, Loudoun, Arlington, Alexandria and Prince William). Outside it, text us; we usually make it work for a small trip charge.
Plans
How do the plans work?
Pick a service, a vehicle and how many visits you want a year, one to six. Every visit on the plan is discounted, and the discount grows with the visit count: 5% off for 1, 9% off for 2, 13% off for 3, 17% off for 4, 21% off for 5, 25% off for 6 visits a year. Add-ons stay at regular price. You book the first visit online, we schedule the rest with you, and you pay after each visit.
What does auto-renew mean, and can I cancel?
On the plan's anniversary it renews at the same visit count, so the schedule keeps rolling. There's no contract and no cancellation fee. Text us to change the number of visits or stop the plan; any visit already booked stays on the calendar at the plan rate.
Can I mix services in a plan?
Each plan is one service on one vehicle. Many customers run two: two full details a year plus four maintenance washes, for example. Start one online and text us to add the second.
Insurance and care
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry general liability and garage keepers coverage, the policy that specifically covers a customer's vehicle while it's in our care. We also photograph the car before we touch it and walk you through any existing damage we find.
Will you scratch my paint?
We use a foam pre-wash, a two-bucket hand wash with grit guards, and clean microfiber for every car. No brushes, no drive-through-style spinning anything. That's the difference between a wash and a detail.
Do you do paint correction or ceramic coating?
We offer buffing, a one-step machine polish that removes light swirls and restores gloss, as an add-on. Multi-stage correction and ceramic coatings aren't on the menu yet.
Water and neighbors
What about the water and my HOA?
We use pH-neutral, biodegradable, phosphate-free products and keep the water on your driveway or lawn rather than letting it run to a storm drain. Where a driveway drains straight to the street, we switch to a low-water rinseless wash. We don't put up signs, and we start no earlier than 8:30 on weekends.
